✨ UPDATE — Clio’s Happy Ending!
Clio’s tail amputation was a success, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Animal Health Center for the excellent care they provided.
Even better—Clio was adopted on November 22nd, 2025 by an amazing couple who absolutely adore him. He now gets to spend his days surrounded by his family, soaking up love, and even accompanies his new dad to work.
Thank you to everyone who donated and shared his story. Your generosity helped make his recovery possible and gave this sweet boy the chance at the joyful life he deserves. Happy life, Clio!
Meet Clio:
Clio is a 5-year-old, neutered male German Shepherd who was surrendered into our care recently. He’s a pure white, 100-pound handsome boy.
Unfortunately, Clio recently suffered a severe tail injury that now requires a tail amputation surgery scheduled for October 24th.
Clio spends most of his time indoors and enjoys the company of people, especially fond of men. Once he has recovered, he will be listed for adoption to the right home but he is currently seeking a foster home to help him through his healing process.
Your support will help cover the cost of his surgery and recovery, ensuring Clio can move forward healthy, comfortable, and ready for his next chapter.
Please consider donating to help Clio heal. Every contribution makes a difference.
