Tough is a 6-month-old Cane Corso/German Shepard mix puppy currently in our care. Despite his young age, he is facing significant lifelong challenges. Tough is blind, mostly deaf, and has additional congenital medical conditions that will require ongoing evaluation and specialized care.
Even with his disabilities, Tough is a resilient, sweet puppy who is learning to navigate the world in his own way. He deserves the chance to live a safe, supported, and enriched life.
To help him thrive, Tough urgently needs specialized medical support and adaptive care, including:
A Muffin’s Halo for Blind Dogs, which will help him safely navigate his environment, prevent injuries, and build confidence as he moves through space
Acupuncture treatments, which may help support his overall comfort, neurological function, and quality of life
Ongoing veterinary care and diagnostics, including specialist evaluation to better understand his congenital conditions and long-term needs
Coverage for medical expenses already incurred, as well as continued care moving forward
Tough has already begun his medical journey, but his needs extend far beyond basic care. A specialist evaluation is an important next step to determine the best possible path forward for him and ensure he receives the most appropriate treatment and support.
