Garage & Bulk Storage Space

The garage space plays a critical support role in keeping animals cared for and our operations running smoothly. While it doesn’t require the same level of renovation as other parts of the building, several key improvements will turn it into a functional, efficient hub for supplies, storage, and daily workflows.

This area will serve as the landing zone for bulk deliveries of pet food, litter, and supplies. This allows us to unload safely and store items immediately, without impacting indoor animal spaces. With thoughtful upgrades, the garage will become a reliable, organized space that supports our entire facility.

To maximize its usefulness, we plan to:

• Install a full wall and doorway to create a secure, enclosed storage room separate from animal areas

• Repair and adjust the garage door for smooth, dependable operation

• Add overhead lighting and electrical improvements for better visibility and safety

• Finish the ceiling and reinforce insulation to protect stored supplies

• Clean, seal, and finish the flooring for easy cleaning and durability

• Add shelving and vertical storage systems to organize food and essential supplies

These improvements will transform a simple garage into an organized, functional space for all of our supplies.
