Lounge & Meeting Room
This central room will serve as the heart of LAWS’ community interactions. Once an open living/dining area, it will soon become a multi-use space where families meet adoptable pets, volunteers gather for trainings, and foster families connect with our team in a calm, comfortable environment.
Beyond the glass room, an inviting visitor lounge will offer cozy seating, washable rugs, and animal-friendly décor. Bar seating along the open kitchen area lets volunteers relax, socialize, and watch activities in the adjoining prep kitchen.
Outside the west-facing French doors, guests can step into a fenced backyard area, perfect for meeting dogs in a natural environment full of sunshine and fresh air.
This space will feature a fully enclosed glass-front meeting room, designed to offer privacy and quiet while still maintaining an open, bright atmosphere. This area will allow adopters to meet animals safely away from the rest of the building, while giving volunteers a dedicated place for orientations, meetings, and behavior consultations.
