Storage Building & South Yard

Our south-side storage building, currently a pair of connected lofting sheds, offers an incredible opportunity to create a functional, organized hub for the equipment that keeps LAWS running. This upgraded structure will become our dedicated space for housing traps, carriers, kennels, yard tools, and seasonal supplies.

By strengthening and finishing this building, we can protect costly equipment, improve efficiency for volunteers, and free up indoor space for animals who need it most.

Planned Improvements

• New raised flooring to create a level, durable surface for storing kennels, traps, and supplies

• Metal roof replacement to protect the building long-term

• Fresh paint exterior repairs to weatherproof the structure

• Simple interior lighting for safe evening and early-morning use

• Shelving and labeled storage systems to keep equipment easily accessible

• Barn-style doors to allow wide, easy entry for large kennels and bulk items

• General cleanup and grading of the surrounding area to reduce mud and improve usability
